About HR Clutch
HR CLUTCH has been in the
clutch business since 1960. Our name HR came from Hot Rod clutches.
Back in the day when street and strip racing was very popular, high
performance clutches was only way to generate more power and
speed. Since then we have built and expanded are business into heavy-duty
trucking clutches, industrial
and off-road clutches, agricultural
clutches, passenger
cars and trucks clutches. HR has also added brake relining to
its product line. We are a family run business with the goal of
serving our customers with HR style “H”onest
prices and “R”eliable parts. The key
to our success is knowledge. We can show
you how each part works how to troubleshoot, and how to maximize
performance. We can customize a clutch to your needs and provide
the accessories that go with the job to make it a “one stop
shop”. We like to pay attention to the particulars, for example,
your old parts can tell a lot about driving habits and other problems
that could be overlooked when replacing a clutch assembly. For example
a lot of clutch failure in newer vehicles is the result of hydraulic
failure, not necessarily the clutch. We can examine your old parts
and determine if there might be some underlying problems not being
addressed.
Reliability…Who wants
to do a job twice? In this busy world not too many people. All of
our clutch and brake relining is done on premises. We use top quality
parts with original equipment specifications. We inspect all parts
carefully when they come in and when they go out to assure quality
and reliability. We do not "mass" produce our
parts, that is we do not manufacture 50 or 100 of a part at a time.
We make smaller quantities at one time paying attention to detail
and avoiding employee oversights. And each employee handles manufacturing
from start to finish. We not only do work on truck and car clutches
but also have done work on clutches for antique
cars, fire trucks, motorcycles, etc., which appear at different
shows all over the country. And whose owners demand only the
best. Some parts for large diesel engines can take anywhere from
4 to 6 hours to install, so quality and reliability is a must.
Honesty…A word many people use without stopping
to think what it really means. We believe it means doing a good
job for a fair price. We sell you parts that need to be replaced
and only those parts. In some cases you might have to only replace
one piece of a clutch kit, or just a starter gear on a flywheel
instead of buying a new one saving you a considerable amount of
money. We believe that saving a customer money and educating them
at the same time will keep a customer for life.
