Cars that are utilized in racing require
optimal performance on all of their parts, including their
clutch kits. In fact, high performance street and strip
clutch kits are essential in allowing a car to drive smoother,
shift seamlessly, and grab of the line. They include
a heavy-duty pressure plate, a performance clutch disc, release
bearing, pilot bearing, and alignment tool. High performance
clutch kits will enable your muscle car to have increased
torque, power, and most importantly, speed.
HR Clutch has been improving the drivability
of racing cars since 1960. Serving a wide array of clients
in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, and Maryland, we have
changed the way that people perceive rebuilt clutches and
clutch kits. Unlike other companies, we utilize the same strict
standards and specifications as original manufacturers for
our remanufactured clutch kits. Similarly, we also offer brand
new clutch kits. In the slight chance that we dont have
your particular clutch kit, we will custom design and construct
one for you on site. Below, you can find out more information
about our high performance clutch kits.
Woven Steel
Back Clutch (Stage 1)
This particular type of clutch offers the same smooth drivability
and ease of gear shifting for your vehicle, except that it
has the added bonus of increased strength and durability.
At HR Clutch, we know the importance of high performance driving
for muscle and race car drivers. Thats why we offer
steel-backed woven clutch kits as well as overnight delivery
if need be. Additionally, we provide clutch kits for both
foreign and domestic cars. Some options that we provide for
our high performance clutch kits include, but are certainly
not limited to:
-
Clutch discs, with 3, 4, or 6 pad
protection, that either have or dont have springs.
-
Double diaphragm pressure plates
are available for specific applications.
-
Lightweight flywheels are offered
upon request.
-
Pressure plates ranging from 50-100%
added pressure to ensure a high-horsepower engine.
Dual
Friction Clutch (Stage 2)
This specific type of clutch utilizes two different types
of friction material: one side grabs while the other side
smoothes out the quick engagement, giving the driver a smooth
shift. This technology is used widely by such companies
as Centerforce; however, we do it for much less. HR Clutch
offers dual friction clutches for drivers that insist on unbeatable
driving performance, including driver control and shifting.
In addition, we can incorporate upgraded materials to optimize
your clutch system and your clutch life:
-
Ceramic Woven Clutches
enable heavy duty trucks to withstand hefty loads and
the clumsiness of inexperienced drivers.
-
Kevlar Woven Clutches
endure through the most extreme conditions and do not
transfer heat, which could lead to warped metal surfaces
and a clutch that will slip.
