The main duty of a water pump is to

as to whether your water pump needs to be replaced. First,
you should visually check your water pump to see if any coolant
leaking has occurred. If leaking has occurred, it may be time
to replace your water pump. Second, if you check your round
pulley, it should not move back and forth. However, if it
does, your pulley’s bearings are worn out and it’s
time for a new water pump.
